WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Power Secretary Jennifer Granholm mentioned on Monday that President Joe Biden would veto a invoice by Home of Representatives Republicans on the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) if it passes the U.S. Congress.
In a letter final week, Granholm warned Republicans that limiting Biden’s authority to faucet the nation’s oil reserves would undermine nationwide safety, trigger shortages and lift gasoline costs.
